Job summary

Berry Recruitment is currently recruiting for Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join the Burton Latimer team on a temporary ongoing basis. We offer day and night shifts with regular ongoing work and competitive hourly pay.

You will drive Class 1 vehicles, perform daily checks, ensure loads are secure and complete delivery paperwork in line with Driver Hours and Road Transport regulations. A valid C+E licence, CPC and Tachograph card are required, along with reliability and punctuality.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of Driver Hours and road transport regulations.

Responsibilities

• Driving Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and professionally.
• Completing deliveries and collections as required.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.

• Completing relevant delivery paperwork accurately.
• Following all Driver Hours, Working Time and road transport regulations.

Pay Rates

• Weekday Day: £15.30 per hour
• Weekday Night: £16.35 per hour
• Weekend & Bank Holiday Day: £18.99 per hour
• Weekend & Bank Holiday Night: £19.52 per hour

The Role
