Job summary

M4 Specialist are recruiting a Class 1 ADR Driver for a busy waste management operation in Normanton (WF6 1TW). The role is Monday–Friday with 10-hour shifts, start times vary between early morning and late afternoon.

The job mainly involves driving, with some loading/unloading, and visits to hospitals, care homes and other healthcare sites. ADR and tachograph compliance, plus accurate paperwork, are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence is required.
• ADR qualification required.
• Relevant Class 1 driving experience.
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 1 vehicle as part of a waste management operation.
• Predominantly driving with some loading/unloading duties.
• Visit hospitals, care homes and other healthcare sites.
• Ensure waste is transported safely and in accordance with procedures.

Location: Normanton (WF6 1TW)

Pay: £18 per hour

Monday to Friday

Days: 4:00am starts – 10-hour shifts

Nights: 4:00pm starts – 10-hour shifts

M4 Specialist are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 ADR Driver to join a busy and professional waste management operation based in Normanton.

This is a great opportunity for a Class 1 driver looking for Monday–Friday work, with the role being predominantly driving and involving deliveries/collections from hospitals, care homes and other healthcare establishments.

The Role

• Driving a Class 1 vehicle as part of a professional waste management operation
• Predominantly driving, with some loading/unloading duties
• Visiting hospitals, care homes and other healthcare sites
• Ensuring waste is transported safely and in accordance with relevant procedures
• Completing vehicle and delivery/collection paperwork accurately
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Maintaining a professional attitude when dealing with customers and site staff
• Following all ADR, health & safety and company procedures
• Working Monday to Friday on either the day or night shift

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
