Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment is seeking experienced Class 1 Drivers for Preston-based shifts with guaranteed hours. You will trunk goods, perform standard vehicle checks, and ensure compliant driving within WTD guidelines.

To qualify, you must hold a Class 1 Licence, 6 months of commercial driving, UK DCPC and Digi-tacho cards, and be eligible to work in the UK. Weekly pay and on-site facilities support your role.

Class 1 Driver - Guaranteed Shifts available

Location

Preston (covering Leyland / Chorley / Wigan / Haydock / St Helens / Warrington)

Pay Rate

£24.94 to £37.08 p/h

Shifts

GUARANTEED SHIFTS - Applicants must be available to work Sunday or Friday, with additional shifts available throughout the week.

Experience

Minimum 6 months' commercial Class 1 driving experience is essential.

About You

You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 6 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we cannot accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations and be able to monitor and keep your working hours accordingly. You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
