Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment is seeking Class 1 drivers to work for a major UK supermarket client based near Haydock. The role covers ambient and chilled store deliveries with a focus on safe, compliant operation of well-maintained vehicles.

Candidates must hold a Class 1 licence with at least 2 years of experience, UK DCPC and Digi-tacho cards, and be able to work night shifts. The role requires UK residency and some site travel; visa or relocation support is not provided.

Qualifications

• Two years Class 1 driving experience required.
• UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card are required.
• Endorsements: no DD, TT, DR, CD, or IN allowed.
• Driver must comply with Working Time Directive (WTD).

Hours: Start bands 21:00 - 02:00 (OT available after 48 hours)

About you:

You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 2 years experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations and be able to monitor and keep your working hours accordingly.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
