Manpower UK is seeking a Class 1 Driver in Rochester for ongoing temporary work. You will operate an HGV on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery points, transporting mail and parcels while meeting tight schedules.

Ideal candidates have a valid UK C+E licence, Driver CPC, and at least 1 year of HGV experience. Role requires reliability, professionalism, and a strong safety record.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence is essential.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card required.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• At least 1 year HGV driving experience in a logistics setting.
• Strong knowledge of UK road transport legislation and safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 vehicle on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail and parcels while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects as required.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring security of all items.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and maintain electronic records.
