Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) to perform trunking duties between depots, including routes to Scotland and Milton Keynes. You will complete daily checks, ensure on-time deliveries and maintain accurate records.

The role requires a valid UK Class 1 licence and 2 years’ experience, with a Digital Tachograph Card and a strong safety/customer-service focus. Regular pay, induction, and a supportive team are provided.

• At least 2 years commercial Class 1 driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Trunking between depots - up to Scotland and down to Milton Keynes.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, professionally and on time.
• Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Transport regulations.
• Completing all relevant paperwork and electronic records accurately.

Shifts: Monday to Friday (04:00 - 08:00 starts)

Driver Type: Class 1 (C+E)

The Role

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this role, you'll need:
