Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for multiple client sites across the North West.

You'll join a well-established operation offering guaranteed shifts, modern fleets and regular weekly pay. Roles cover days, nights, weekends, full-time or part-time work with ample overtime opportunities to maximise earnings.

Qualifications

• UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence required.
• At least 6 months' commercial Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Professional attitude with a strong safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Trunking between depots and distribution centres.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time.
• Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Transport regulations.
• Completing all relevant paperwork and electronic records accurately.

The Role

As a professional HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties may include:

• Trunking between depots and distribution centres
• Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, professionally and on time
• Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Transport regulations
• Completing all relevant paperwork and electronic records accurately

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

• A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
• At least 6 months' commercial Class 1 driving experience
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• A professional attitude with a strong commitment to safety and customer service
