Job summary

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver on behalf of our client based in Durham. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 1 Driver seeking regular night shifts.

As a Class 1 Driver, you will carry out trunking duties with modern vehicles, pre-planned routes, and no handball involved. Typical start times from 17:00, with pre-loaded vehicles and secure loads using straps. Weekly pay and other benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Valid CPC Qualification Card.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours regulations.
• Reliable and professional approach to work.

Responsibilities

The Role

• Pre-loaded vehicles
• Pre-planned routes
• Securing loads with straps
• No handball or multi-drop work

Pay Rates (PAYE)

• Monday to Friday:

£16.00 per hour

• Saturday:

£17.50 per hour

• Sunday:

£18.50 per hour

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Valid CPC Qualification Card
