Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking a Class 1 Driver for night shift work in Peterlee. The role involves trunking between destinations, handling pre-loaded vehicles and pre-planned routes, and securing loads with straps. No handball is required.

PAYE pay at £16.00 per hour is offered, with start times typically around 18:00 and regular weekly pay. This position supports ongoing assignments with a well-established logistics employer in Peterlee, offering 28 days leave pro-rata and 24/7 driver

• Experience as a Class 1 Driver or similar role.
• Night-shift trunking work with minimal handball.

The Best Connection are proud to be working with our client based in Peterlee who are a large and well-established haulage company.

Due to planned growth and commitment, they are looking for a Class 1 Driver to work night shift completing trunk runs to hubs.

The start times do vary pending destination however this is usually approximately 18:00 starts.

In this role you will be doing:

• A to B trunking
• Pre-loaded vehicles & pre-planned routes
• Strapping the load
• No handball involved
• Class 1 Driver

This is Class 1 driver role is offered on a PAYE basis, at the following rate:

£16.00 per hour
