Job summary

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver on behalf of our well-established client based in Durham. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 1 Driver seeking regular night trunking.

As a Class 1 Driver, you will carry out trunking with pre-loaded vehicles, pre-planned routes and no handball involved, with typical start times from 17:00. You will secure loads and ensure compliance with drivers hours regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence is required.
• Valid CPC Qualification Card is required.
• Digital Tachograph Card is required.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours regulations is essential.
• Reliable and professional approach to work is expected.

The Role

Pay Rates (PAYE)

• Monday to Friday: £16.00 per hour
• Saturday: £17.50 per hour
• Sunday: £18.50 per hour

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence

• Good knowledge of drivers' hours regulations
