Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment are seeking reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers in Kettering to join our team and help keep the supply chain moving. You will operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles on planned routes, perform daily vehicle checks, complete relevant paperwork and ensure loads are secured.

The role includes store deliveries and collections with manual handling. You’ll represent the company professionally at client sites and work across a 7-day operation with AM and PM shifts to suit.

Qualifications

• UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence with 12 months experience.
• Current UK Driver CPC (DCPC) and Digital Tachograph card required.
• Up to 6 points accepted on licence (no DD, DR, CD, TT, IN).
• Professional attitude and good communication skills.

Pay Rate: £20.73 to £23.98 p/h

Shifts: 7 day working operation -with AM and PM starts - Various shifts available to suit

Experience: 6 months experience driving Class 1 required

What You Need:

• A valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence with 12 months experience


• A current UK Driver CPC (DCPC) card and avalid Digital Tachograph card


• Up to 6 points accepted on licence (No DD, DR, CD, TT, IN endorsements)


• A professional attitude and good communication skills
