The Best Connection Oxford is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for our client in Banbury. This temp-to-perm role offers regular work, enhanced weekend and bank holiday pay, and a pathway to a permanent position.

Shifts start early with ongoing full-time work, 8-hour days and overtime opportunities. You will drive Class 1 vehicles, perform safety checks, ensure compliance, and deliver excellent service while earning weekly pay.

Qualificações

• Valid Category C+E (Class 1) Driving Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• 2 years of Class 1 driving experience.
• Good knowledge of UK driving legislation.
• Reliable, professional and safety-focused.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Drive a Class 1 (Category C+E) vehicle for deliveries and collections.
• Transport goods safely and on time.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks.
• Ensure compliance with Driver Hours, Working Time and Road Traffic Regulations.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service while representing the business.

HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) - Banbury | Up to £28.64 per Hour | Temp to Perm | Immediate Starts

Looking for a well-paid Class 1 driving role with regular work and excellent overtime rates?

The Best Connection Oxford is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers for our prestigious client based in Banbury.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a temp to perm position, enjoy enhanced weekend and Bank Holiday pay, and work towards a permanent position with a leading logistics operation.

Pay Rates

• £17.21 per hour - Monday to Friday
• £20.50 per hour - Overtime
• £23.04 per hour - Saturdays
• £28.64 per hour - Sundays
• £27.04 per hour - Bank Holidays
• Weekly pay every Friday

Shift Details

• Start times between 4:00am and 6:00am
• Ongoing, full-time work
• 45-minute break
• 8hr shifts with overtime opportunities
• Opportunity for a permanent position following a successful trial period

The Role

As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for:

• Driving a Class 1 (Category C+E) vehicle for deliveries and collections
• Transporting goods safely, professionally and on time
• Completing daily vehicle safety checks

What We're Looking For
