Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team in Newport. This ongoing role offers regular start times and stable hours within a reliable transport operation. You will help ensure loads are moved safely, with consistent 06:30 starts and weekly pay.

You will hold a valid Class 1 licence with CPC/Digi Tacho, and have good knowledge of driver regulations. The role provides pension, accrued holiday entitlement, and ongoing work with 24/7 support from The Best

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 licence (C+E).
• CPC and Digi Tacho card up to date.
• Previous HGV driving experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of driver regulations.
• Dependable and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 1 (Category C+E) vehicle.
• Complete scheduled deliveries and collections.
• Ensure loads are secure and transported safely.
• Conduct pre-use vehicle checks and report issues.
• Complete relevant paperwork accurately.
• Follow driver hours and road safety regulations.
• Represent the company in a professional manner.

• Following all driver hours and road safety regulations

What we're looking for:
