Job summary

Kirivani Limited T/A Driver Support Services is recruiting for experienced Class 1 Drivers to work for a parcel delivery company in Croydon during the winter peak period.

Roles are available for full-time or part-time work with shifts across days, nights, and weekends. An assessment and DBS check will be arranged as part of the recruitment process.

Qualifications

• Class 1 license held and used for a minimum of 2 years (1 year from end of October).
• Must hold valid CPC and digital tachograph.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work either days or nights or weekends.
• DBS check will be arranged and an assessment scheduled.
• Infringements will be checked before assessment; certain penalties may affect eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Trunking depot to depot with cages; cages may be unloaded.
• Operate Class 1 vehicle safely and within legal requirements.
• Comply with company policies and customer service standards.

Role: Class 1 Driver

Salary: £24.35ph days, £27.47ph nights

Shifts: On-going agency

Driver Support Services are proud to be recruiting for experienced Class 1 Drivers to work for a parcel delivery company in their Croydon Depot for the winter peak period. The positions are for any Class 1 driver that has experience and is looking for either full-time or part-time work.

What we require:

• Class 1 driver license held and used for a minimum of 2 years (1 year from end of October)
• Must hold valid CPC and digital tacho-card
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work either days or nights or weekends
• Infringements will be checked before assessment more than 10 overall in 12 months, or more than 3 for rest or drivers hours you will not be able to assess.
• No more than 3 points for Speeding/Traffic convictions only ( 6 points from end of October)
• Must be able to do a manual entry

An assessment will be arranged and a DBS check is needed which will be arranged for you.

The work is trunking depot to depot with cages, cages will need to be unloaded (loaded on occasion)
