Job summary

Fifth Wheel Recruitment seeks professional Class 1 Drivers for trunking work in Barnsley. You will start shifts with the depot, collect and load deliveries, and complete routes with care for safety and paperwork compliance.

Early starts and part-time/ad-hoc hours are available; paid weekly with a competitive rate. A UK DCPC card and Digi-tacho are required, with a willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

Job Title: Class 1 Driver - Trunking work

Location: Barnsley

Pay Rate: £17.25 - £23.25 p/h

Working Hours: Monday to Sunday 03:00 -22:30 start times (Part Time/ Ad-Hoc)

Licence Type: Class 1

Experience: 12 months experience preferred

Roles & Responsibilities

• Report to Barnsley depot at the start and end of your shift.
• Collect and Load vehicle
• Complete scheduled deliveries safely and efficiently
• Complete required paperwork and tachograph records
• Performvehicle and safety checksNo tramping or nights out required

About you

You will need a professional attitude and good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations, good timekeeping skills and be safety conscious.

You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence, and you must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we cannot acceptDD, TT, DR, CD, INendorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
