QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for a Chesterfield-based role with immediate start. You will transport products to builders’ merchants, construction sites and commercial customers across the country, following well-planned routes and a structured workload.

Daily vehicle checks and strict adherence to transport and health & safety regulations are essential, along with accurate paperwork and delivering professional service at every customer site.

Class 1 Drivers Wanted – Chesterfield – great rates of pay – Immediate start

Looking for a reliable HGV Class 1 role with long-term prospects? We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading UK manufacturer that supplies the construction sector nationwide, offering consistent work, excellent rates of pay, and immediate starts for professional HGV Class 1 Drivers.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for transporting products to builders’ merchants, construction sites, and commercial customers across the country. Deliveries are well-planned and organised, providing drivers with a structured workload and efficient routes throughout the working week.

Drivers typically complete between 4 and 8 deliveries per shift using modern curtain-sided vehicles. Manual handling is kept to a minimum, with duties generally limited to opening and securing vehicle curtains during loading and unloading operations.

All drivers will be expected to conduct daily vehicle safety inspections, comply with transport and health & safety regulations, complete all relevant paperwork accurately, and deliver a professional level of service at every customer location.
