HGV Class 2 Drivers Wanted in Chesterfield

We are recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers on behalf of a leading UK manufacturer that supplies products to the construction sector nationwide. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional transport operation offering regular work and immediate starts.

As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to builders’ merchants, construction sites, and commercial customers across the UK. Working to planned routes and schedules, you’ll play a key role in ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

Drivers can expect to complete between 4 and 8 deliveries per day using curtain-sided vehicles. The role involves very little physical work, with responsibilities typically limited to assisting with the unloading process by opening and securing the vehicle curtains when required.

All drivers will be expected to carry out daily vehicle safety inspections, adhere to all transport and health & safety regulations, complete delivery documentation accurately, and maintain a professional and courteous approach when interacting with customers.
