Job summary

AFI-Rentals in the South West region is recruiting a Regional Driver to cover multiple depots, with regular nights away and Monday–Friday work in the Banbury/Bicester area.

You must hold a Class 1 licence and a Driver CPC, with experience in multi-drop deliveries. Training includes IPAF and load/unload; strong timekeeping and customer-facing skills are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Cover depots across the South West region, delivering and collecting as required.
• Regular nights away from home with night-out allowance.
• Maintain accurate timekeeping and logs for all shifts.
• Provide high-quality customer service during deliveries/collections.
• Attend training induction and IPAF/ load/unload training as needed.

AFI is currently looking to recruit a Regional Driver to work throughout the South West region, providing driver cover over multiple depots. This role will involve regularly staying away from home base, working Monday to Friday (additional night out allowance paid).

Basic salary £45,396, rising to £47,790 on completion of probation, plus OT, plus night out allowance, plus bonus.

• You must hold a Class 1 licence.
• You will have experience with multi-drop delivery/collections.
• You must hold your driver CPC.
• You must be outgoing and enthusiastic.
• As this is a customer-facing role, excellent communication skills and a friendly approach are a must.
• Timekeeping and using your initiative will be important aspects of this role, so you should be proficient in these skills.
• A CSCS card would be beneficial but is not essential.
• Experience in loading/unloading plant would be favourable but again is not essential as full training will be given.
• You will also receive an excellent training induction programme, including approved IPAF Operator and load/unload training.
• Able to work away from home Mon-Fri.

This role will suit someone located around the Banbury / Bicester area.
