Job summary

We Are Workforce Ltd is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 drivers on an ad-hoc basis to meet the needs of our Avonmouth depot. This role involves refrigerated multi‑drop deliveries, cage handling, and occasional tail-lift use. Immediate start after assessment and induction.

Shifts include MORNINGS, AFTERNOON, NIGHTS with pay rates from £20.50 to £29.00 depending on day, plus a £70 weekly bonus when a full week is completed. Free onsite parking is provided for colleagues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months of Class 1 driving experience.
• UK Driving Licence with Cat C+E entitlement.
• Digi & CPC Card required; no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Driving within the WTD and EU regs.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Completing vehicle checks.
• Refuelling vehicles.
• Multi‑drop deliveries.
• Interdepot and RDC deliveries.
• Manual handling of trolleys.
• Maintain high levels of customer service on the round.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers on an ad - hoc basis to meet the needs of the business at our busy Avonmouth depot. The role consists of refrigerated Multi drop deliveries to stores and shops. The role involves cage deliveries and some locations you are required to use a tail-lift to push and pull products being delivered.

Immediate starts after successful assessment and Induction.

***Additional bonus of £70 per week on top of wages, payable when a full working week is completed***

Shifts available:

• MORNINGS, AFTERNOON, NIGHTS
• Any days of the week to work, 2,3,4 or 5 shifts available.

Day pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £20.50(overtime after 47.5hrs £23.00)
• Saturday £23.00
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £29.00

Nights pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £23.00(overtime after 47.5hrs £25.00)
• Saturday £25.00
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £33.00

30-minute break deducted per shift only!

Day to day duties will include the following:

• Driving with-in the WTD and EU regs and rules.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Completing vehicles checks.
• Refueling vehicles.
• Multi drop deliveries.
• Interdepot and RDC deliveries.
• Manual Handling trolleys
• The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:

• At least 3Months of Class one driving experience required.
• Excellent Communication skills.
• UK Driving Licence with a Cat C+E entitlement.
• Digi & CPC Card No more than 6 points for minor offences.
• Immediate start for successful candidates
• Free onsite secured colleague car parking
