Based in Leeds with 50% hybrid working, the role emphasizes category management, contracting and stakeholder engagement, supporting Aviva’s Net Zero objectives

Location: Leeds, Norwich, Glasgow, Perth, York or Manchester based (50% hybrid working)

This role presents an excellent opportunity for a strategic and commercially focused claims procurement specialist to join the UK General Insurance Claims Supply Chain team.

A bit about the job:

The primary objective of this position is to optimise value across Aviva’s motor / property claims supply chain through comprehensive end-to-end commercial management. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and operational teams to design forward-thinking service solutions, thereby delivering enhanced value for Aviva and its customers.

Specialising in the motor and/or property insurance claims category,

you will draw upon advanced commercial, contractual, regulatory, risk management, and category management skills, tools, and methodologies to drive value for money by identifying and executing new initiatives, demonstrating subject matter expertise, and staying ahead of emerging technologies and market trends. Furthermore, you will actively mitigate and manage risk, while supporting the achievement of our Net Zero objectives.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• In-depth expertise in motor and/or property claims procurement or supply chain
• Demonstrated commercial and stakeholder management capabilities, with a strong record of building effective internal business and supplier relationships
• Proven experience of delivering Category Management within a complex, fast-paced environment
• Contracting experience, including management of sourcing processes and the development and negotiation of agreements in alignment with governance requirements.
• MCIPS qualification obtained or working towards obtaining it
