Job description

An experienced Property Claims Desk Adjuster with managerial experience is required to join a global Loss Adjusters firm, where you will work closely with a team of Desk Claims Handlers and Field Adjusters managing Property Claims up to £100k, including Major and Complex Losses.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support a team of Desk Claims Handlers and Field Adjusters in collaboration with the Regional team.
  2. Serve as a technical referral point for complex claims.
  3. Assist Field Adjusters by accompanying them on site visits as needed.
  4. Oversee operational aspects of claims handling to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to SLAs and KPIs.
  5. Mentor team members and identify training and development needs.

About You

  • Experience in handling Property Insurance Claims, including Major and Complex Losses.
  • Proven management skills with the ability to lead and support a team.
  • Strong listening skills and technical expertise to resolve complex issues.
  • Experience working closely with Field Adjusters.
  • Exceptional communication skills—written, verbal, and face-to-face.
  • Industry qualifications or working towards them; a desire to continue professional development.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for site visits with your team.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence.
