Davies Group is recruiting a Claims Handler to join our Motor Claims team. As a Handler, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers via telephone. You need to be a great communicator, dedicated to providing professional and empathetic service, with experience in commercial motor claims. The Claims Handler will manage a caseload of Pre-Litigated Motor Claims, including personal injury, from inception to settlement.
What will your day look like:
- Handle phone claims reported by drivers.
- Enter email notifications of claims into Davies/Client claims system.
- Coordinate with our motor repairers on the progression of damaged vehicles, updating customers and Davies claims systems.
- Collaborate with Davies engineering team to ensure claim progress.
- Deliver high-quality customer service via phone and email.
- Meet set client service levels.
- Maintain quality service standards and productivity.
- Manage daily diary systems and handle inbound calls efficiently.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Team Leader.
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Basic customer service experience.
- Motor claims experience is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Organizational skills.
- Ability to manage workload through task management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
