Davies Group is recruiting a Claims Handler to join our Motor Claims team. As a Handler, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers via telephone. You need to be a great communicator, dedicated to providing professional and empathetic service, with experience in commercial motor claims. The Claims Handler will manage a caseload of Pre-Litigated Motor Claims, including personal injury, from inception to settlement.

What will your day look like:
  1. Handle phone claims reported by drivers.
  2. Enter email notifications of claims into Davies/Client claims system.
  3. Coordinate with our motor repairers on the progression of damaged vehicles, updating customers and Davies claims systems.
  4. Collaborate with Davies engineering team to ensure claim progress.
  5. Deliver high-quality customer service via phone and email.
  6. Meet set client service levels.
  7. Maintain quality service standards and productivity.
  8. Manage daily diary systems and handle inbound calls efficiently.
  9. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Team Leader.
Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Basic customer service experience.
  • Motor claims experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage workload through task management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
