Job summary

The Emerald Group Ltd, Search and Selection is seeking an Emerging Risks Claims professional in London to lead and manage complex claims with a focus on TCF and Conduct Risk. The role involves handling claims from first notification to settlement, analysing coverage and liability, and maintaining strong relationships with policyholders, brokers, and underwriters.

You will ensure timely reserving, pursue recoveries, and contribute insights on trends and product development within the claims team.

Qualifications

• CII qualification or working towards it.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with ECF.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the claims department delivers outstanding TPA services for capacity providers, upholding TCF and Conduct Risk.
• Proactively manage claims from first notification of loss to settlement within delegated authorities.
• Build strong relationships with policyholders, brokers, underwriters, and capacity providers for a standout experience.
• Guarantee prompt, accurate reserving, pursue third-party recoveries, and minimise leakage.
• Identify and escalate key issues to the Emerging Risks Claims Manager and Claims Director as needed.
• Support the Emerging Risks Claims Manager and wider team, collaborating with underwriters and feeding trends feedback.

• Ensure their claims department continues to deliver outstanding TPA services for capacity providers, always upholding Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and Conduct Risk principles
• Proactively manage claims from first notification of loss to settlement, analysing coverage, legal liability, and quantum within delegated authorities
• Build strong relationships with policyholders, brokers, underwriters, and capacity providers—delivering a customer experience that sets them apart
• Guarantee prompt, accurate reserving, pursue third-party recoveries, and minimize claims leakage
• Identify and escape key issues to the Emerging Risks Claims Manager and Claims Director as needed
• Support the Emerging Risks Claims Manager, Claims Director, and the wider claims team, collaborating closely with underwriters and providing valuable feedback on claims trends and product development
