Job summary

DiverseJobsMatter in Leeds is seeking an experienced Professional Indemnity Claims Adjuster to investigate, manage and resolve complex PI claims with accuracy and proactive handling.

You will manage your own caseload, assess policy coverage, negotiate settlements, maintain reserves and liaise with brokers and clients to deliver service within targets. Flexible working options and comprehensive benefits are available.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, manage and resolve Professional Indemnity claims efficiently and within agreed service levels and authority limits.
• Assess policy coverage and ensure liability remains aligned with contractual commitments.
• Evaluate and negotiate claims, including disputed and material cases, to achieve economical settlements.
• Maintain accurate reserves and ensure liabilities are clearly recorded.
• Respond proactively to claims correspondence, advice and enquiries from brokers and clients.
• Review estimates and billings from service providers and brokers, resolving discrepancies where required.
• Build effective relationships with customers, brokers and internal stakeholders.
• Support delivery of the wider claims strategy and business targets.

You will manage your own caseload, determine policy coverage, investigate and evaluate claims, negotiate settlements and maintain accurate reserves. The role involves regular contact with brokers, clients and internal stakeholders, with responsibility for delivering claims within agreed service levels and authority limits.
