Job summary

Clancy is recruiting operatives for civil excavation works at the Imperial Park framework in Newport. A full and valid driving licence is essential, with CSCS and/or EUSR cards required. Experience in the utilities sector and safe excavation practices are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Comply with NRSWA and client specifications.
• Execute civil excavation works safely and efficiently.
• Interact politely and professionally with colleagues, customers and the public.
• Follow RAMS and escalate deviations where needed.
• Ensure accurate completion of information related to jobs.
• Assist in incident/accident or damage investigations.

The Role:
We are delighted to work on the Imperial Park framework in Newport and business growth means that we have vacancies for operatives, to safely undertake civil excavation works, in a way that mitigates health and safety risks, as well as meeting contract targets.

Here are some of the activities that you get involved with:

• Complying with NRSWA and client specifications.
• Ensuring all interactions with colleagues, customers and members of the public are polite and professional, minimising the need to escalation.
• Compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures and taking responsibility for the quality of work undertaken.
• Accurate and timely completion of all information related to completed and active jobs.
• Carrying out activities in accordance with the RAMS and highlighting/escalation deviations.
• Cooperating in any incident, accident or damage investigation.

If you have the following experience, we would love to hear from you:

• We are keen to receive applications from teams or individuals, with a full and valid driving licence.
• CSCS and / or EUSR card needed.
• Experience working in the utilities industry including safe excavation.
• Good appreciation for high standards of work and safe working practices.
• Any relevant plant tickets such a dumper, telehandler etc
