Job summary

Carmichael UK is seeking a Site Agent based in Walsall to oversee civils and water projects. You will manage site delivery, ensure safety, quality, environmental impact, and cost control while meeting client objectives.

You will work with the Contracts Manager/Project Manager, engineers and QS to maintain programme, produce plans and RAMS, and lead site teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience in Civil Engineering and Site Agent roles for contractors in regulated environments.
• Knowledge of contract conditions, CDM, Design Management, Programme and Risk Management.
• Understanding of testing regimes relevant to civil engineering.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for successful delivery of Civils and Water projects.
• Lead Sub Agents, Engineers and Foremen to deliver work safely and to quality.
• Produce Project Plans, RAMS, ITP and Waste Management Plans according to procedures.
• Maximise the contract's commercial performance.
• Create and manage the construction programme and 2-week look-ahead.
• Prepare procurement schedules and coordinate with procurement.
