Job summary

Carmichael UK is seeking a Site Agent to join the team in Stoke-on-Trent, overseeing site delivery on water projects. You will manage construction activities, ensure safety, quality and environmental standards, and work with Contracts/Project Managers, engineers and QS to meet programme and budget targets.

Essential qualifications include Civil Engineering degree or equivalent, CSCS, IOSH/SMSTS, and experience as Site Agent in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in Civil Engineering and Site Agent roles in a contractor environment.
• Knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme and Risk Management and cost control including forecasting and reporting.
• Familiarity with specifications and testing regimes relevant to civil engineering works.
• Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• CSCS mandatory.
• IOSH Managing Safely or SMSTS.
• Temporary Works Coordinator.
• Confined space training.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for delivering projects in Civils and Water sectors.
• Deliver work to specified quality without defects.
• Lead Sub Agents, Engineers and Foremen to ensure safe delivery and quality.
