Job summary

Carmichael UK is seeking an experienced Sub Agent to manage small-value civil engineering and construction sites or assist on larger schemes in the water sector. You will help deliver projects while upholding health and safety, quality, environmental impact and cost control.

The role requires strong leadership, familiarity with NEC contracts, CDM regulations, and the ability to interpret drawings, manage programmes, and supervise staff and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering is required.
• Extensive experience in civil engineering project delivery.
• Experience with NEC contracts and CDM regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage small-value civil sites or support larger schemes to deliver on time and to spec.
• Maintain safety, quality, environment and cost controls on site.
• Produce monthly reports and chair site meetings.
• Liaise with clients, staff and subcontractors to ensure compliance.
