Lead Site Agent — Civil & Water Projects

Job summary

Carmichael UK is seeking a Site Agent to oversee Civil and Water projects in the Kent and Sussex region. You will manage the site to achieve delivery targets while upholding health, safety, quality and cost control.

You will work with Contracts/Project Managers, engineers and QS to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to client expectations. Strong leadership and Primavera P6 knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Civil Engineering and as a Site Agent on contracted projects.
• Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling software.
• Understanding of JCT and NEC forms of contract.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction sites in Civils and Water sectors to meet delivery and quality targets.
• Lead Sub Agents, Engineers and Foremen to execute works safely and to quality standards.
• Develop and maintain Project Plans, RAMS, ITP and Waste Management Plans.
• Ensure the contract's commercial performance and maximise value.
• Produce project programmes and two-week look-ahead schedules.
• Coordinate procurement to ensure resource availability for tasks.
• Produce monthly progress reports and chair site meetings.
