Job summary

Orion Group is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Lead to support the MCPD project at Wormington Compressor Station in Gloucestershire. You will lead civil and structural teams through FEED, EPC development and construction, ensuring safe, cost-effective design aligned with UK standards.

The role involves coordinating interfaces across disciplines, reviewing designs, supporting estimates and schedules, and providing technical leadership from development through commissioning.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Civil Engineering Lead or equivalent on major industrial projects.
• Strong EPC delivery experience in oil and gas or energy sectors.
• Experience supporting FEED, detailed engineering and construction phases.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil/structural scope across FEED, detailed design, EPC development and construction.
• Provide technical leadership to engineers, designers and consultants.
• Review deliverables to ensure compliance with standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate interfaces with mechanical, piping, electrical and process disciplines.
• Support construction with technical queries, design changes and handover.
