Job summary

Orion Group is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Lead to support the delivery of a major gas infrastructure project in Gloucestershire. The role covers civil and structural leadership across FEED, detailed design, and EPC preparation, with close collaboration to client and design teams to ensure robust, constructible solutions.

The position requires EPC delivery experience in oil/gas or process industries, knowledge of UK standards and safety requirements, and strong leadership to guide

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Civil Engineering Lead or senior civil engineer on major industrial projects.
• Experience delivering EPC projects in oil, gas, energy or process sectors.
• Knowledge of UK standards, health and safety and design risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil and structural engineering across FEED, detailed design, EPC development and construction.
• Review deliverables and ensure compliance with standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate interfaces across engineering disciplines and support construction sequencing.
• Provide technical leadership and act as main civil engineering contact within the project team.
• Support FEED studies, design development, and construction planning.
