Job summary

Arup is offering a 10-12 month Internship in Civil Engineering, based in the United Kingdom. You will work alongside skilled professionals from day one on real projects, learning through regular sessions, site visits and leadership-led learning opportunities.

This placement is a stepping-stone to your future, with exposure to sustainable development and global collaboration. You will be aligned to civil infrastructure design, including urban transport and site infrastructure, while developing

Qualifications

Undergraduate in Civil Engineering with Civil 3D and MicroStation.
Interest in infrastructure design, urban development and sustainable engineering.
Willingness to learn, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage with clients and authorities.

Responsibilities

Carry out assessment, analysis, and design activities; prepare design reports, drawings, calculations and specifications.
Develop infrastructure designs for urban development sites, including transport, pavements, utilities and drainage.
Collaborate with Arup colleagues across disciplines on multidisciplinary projects.
Meet with clients and local authorities; participate in site visits and project meetings.
