Job summary

Arup is offering an Industrial Internship in Civil Engineering and Site Development, based in Sheffield. During 10–12 months you will work alongside skilled professionals on real life projects, gaining hands-on design, analysis and reporting experience while developing your professional network.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with Civil 3D or MicroStation is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assessment, analysis, and design for site development projects.
• Develop infrastructure designs for development sites in urban environments.
• Collaborate with Arup colleagues across disciplines.
• Meet with clients and local authorities and participate in site visits.
• Use software such as Civil 3D, MicroStation, GIS, AutoCAD/Civil 3D and Navisworks.
