Job summary

Arup is offering a Civil Engineering internship in the United Kingdom for 10–12 months, starting as a placement to work on real-life projects and develop professional networks. You will join a multidisciplinary team, learning through site visits, leadership sessions, and interaction with clients and authorities.

The role supports sustainable development and offers exposure to design reports, calculations and digital tools.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Skills in Civil 3D and MicroStation.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out assessment, analysis, and design, preparing design reports, drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Developing infrastructure designs for development sites in the urban environment, including urban transport, site infrastructure, pavements, utilities and drainage design solutions.
• Collaborating with Arup colleagues in other disciplines.
• Meeting with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders, including site visits.
