Arup is offering a 10–12-month Industrial Placement in Civil Engineering, based in Manchester/Liverpool, United Kingdom. You will work from day one on real projects, learning from leading professionals and participating in site visits and learning sessions with the leadership team.

The role is designed for an undergraduate pursuing Civil Engineering with hands-on skills in Civil 3D and MicroStation. This placement serves as a stepping-stone to future graduate opportunities within Arup.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate in Civil Engineering pursuing related degree and skills in Civil 3D and MicroStation.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out assessment, analysis, and design, preparing design reports, drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Developing infrastructure designs for development sites in the urban environment, including urban transport, site infrastructure, pavements, utilities and drainage design solutions.
• Collaborating with Arup colleagues in other disciplines.
• Meeting with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders, including site visits.
