Job summary

Arup is offering an Industrial Placement in Cardiff for a Civil Engineer focusing on Water Utilities. You will join an integrated team delivering innovative water and wastewater infrastructure solutions across the UK and internationally, supporting in calculations, drawings and modelling from day one.

You will contribute to data analysis, catchment information, and collaboration across teams, with a culture that values learning and sharing in a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in a relevant discipline such as Civil Engineering, Earth Sciences (incl. Geology & Oceanography), Environmental Engineering, Geography & Geospatial Science.
• Skills and experience in Microsoft Office, programming e.g. Python, FME. GIS.

Responsibilities

• Support technical delivery, calculations, drawings and modelling from day one.
• Keep records of meetings, workshops, decisions and outputs.
• Communicate and collaborate internally and externally; present and review designs.
