Job summary

ICE Recruit is seeking a Civil Engineer to join a growing consultancy in Hitchin, working on a varied project portfolio from concept through detailed design. The role involves producing robust engineering drawings and coordinating with clients, contractors and authorities.

The successful candidate will hold a Civil Engineering degree with 2-5 years of experience, and will demonstrate strong expertise in highways, drainage and related software tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Vehicle Tracking and

Qualifications

• 2-5 years' experience in civil engineering.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Experience across sectors such as residential, education, commercial, development and regeneration.
• Strong technical experience across highways and drainage, including S38/S278, S104/S185.

Responsibilities

• Produce outline and detailed civil engineering designs and drawings.
• Work closely with clients, contractors and the wider supply chain.
• Liaise with local authorities, statutory bodies and other stakeholders for approvals.
