Job summary

ICE Recruit in Sevenoaks is seeking an experienced Principal or Associate Civil Engineer to lead a broad portfolio of civil projects, from highways and junction design to drainage and hydraulic modelling. The role combines technical leadership with client liaison and team development.

Chartered or nearing Chartered status with solid UK consultancy experience is essential, along with knowledge of Section 278, 38, 104 and 185 agreements.

Qualifications

• Chartered or approaching Chartered status with substantial UK consultancy experience.
• Strong understanding of relevant design standards and best practice.
• Experience of Section 278, 38, 104 and 185 agreements.

Responsibilities

• Lead role across a diverse portfolio of civil engineering projects (highways, junction design, drainage, hydraulic modelling).
• Work closely with clients and stakeholders; represent the business at meetings.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
