Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Civil Engineer to join the Buildings Unit. You will deliver building-related civil engineering works across the UK and Europe, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and supporting project delivery and development toward Chartered status.

The role offers opportunities to work on health infrastructure, major venues, and commercial developments, with a pathway to progression and Chartered professional development.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Progressing towards Chartered or Incorporated Engineer.
• Experience in design of building-related civil works (site development, drainage, utilities).
• Experience supporting project delivery, including planning, budgets, and resources.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams with relevant standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, InfoDrainage.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, and delivery of building-related civil works (site development, drainage, utilities).
• Promote health and safety policies in all work.
• Support delivery to meet quality, programme, and budget requirements.
• Assist with project management tasks under guidance from senior team members.
• Contribute to proposals and business development when appropriate.
• Collaborate across levels to maintain an inclusive team environment.
