Job summary

Marston Holdings Ltd (NSL brand) seeks Civil Enforcement Officers to patrol streets and car parks, guiding the public and ensuring fair parking practices. The role involves extended outdoor work, independence, and accountability, with driving duties and a focus on community safety.

The position requires DBS clearance, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather. Training is provided, and equal opportunities are upheld across all teams.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• DBS clearance is required prior to start.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and periods of extended standing.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling streets and car parks with confidence and professionalism.
• Supporting the public with clear, helpful guidance, including advice on where to park safely.
• Spending extended periods outdoors on your feet, staying active in all weather conditions.
• Encouraging fair and safe parking by issuing notices when required.
• Helping to keep traffic moving and neighbourhoods accessible; reporting issues such as abandoned vehicles.
• Working in partnership with local authorities and councils.
• Enjoy working alone for extended periods while being part of a supportive team.
• Physically resilient and happy outdoors in all weather.
• Demonstrating self-motivation and accountability.
• Maintaining a calm, professional, approachable manner when dealing with people.
• Care about fairness, community safety and doing the right thing.
• Confident and consistent when facing challenges.
• Full UK driving licence is essential for this role as driving is a requirement.

As one of our Civil Enforcement Officers - also known as Traffic Wardens or Parking Attendants - you'll help keep streets safe, accessible and fair for everyone. Every day is varied and engaging, requiring accountability, sound judgement and the ability to work outdoors in all weathers while playing an important part in supporting the public.
