  • Providing excellent customer service and assisting members of the public with enquiries
  • Patrolling designated areas independently and as part of a team
  • Reporting highway defects, damaged signs, faulty street lighting, and other hazards to help keep our communities safe
  • Preparing clear and accurate reports when required

No two days are ever the same, and you’ll regularly engage with residents, visitors, businesses, and colleagues from across the council.

In the vibrant town of Skipton you’ll be patrolling a bustling town centre, supporting the local community, and enjoying the benefits of working outdoors. You’ll play an important role in helping residents and visitors enjoy safe, accessible parking facilities while contributing to the smooth operation of our local communities.

If you’re looking for a role that combines independence, responsibility, customer service, and the opportunity to be active throughout the day, then this could be the perfect career for you.
