Job summary

Marston Holdings Ltd. is seeking Civil Enforcement Officers to patrol streets and car parks, providing guidance to the public and ensuring safe, fair parking. The role involves outdoor work in all weather and independent duty alongside a supportive team.

You will contribute to maintaining accessible local spaces, report issues, and collaborate with local authorities to keep traffic moving while upholding community safety and fairness.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling streets and car parks with confidence and professionalism
• Supporting the public with clear, helpful guidance, including advice on where to park safely
• Spending extended periods outdoors on your feet, staying active in all weather conditions
• Encouraging fair and safe parking by issuing notices when required
• Helping to keep traffic moving and neighbourhoods accessible
• Reporting issues such as abandoned vehicles or blocked access points
• Working in partnership with local authorities and councils
• Enjoy working alone for extended periods and value being part of a supportive team
• Physically resilient and happy outdoors in all weathers
• A high level of self-motivation and accountability
• Strong people skills with a calm, professional, approachable manner
• Care about fairness, community safety and doing the right thing
• Confident and consistent when dealing with challenges
• Driving License preferred but not essential

Job description

As one of our Civil Enforcement Officers - also known as Traffic Wardens or Parking Attendants - you'll help keep streets safe, accessible and fair for everyone. Every day is varied and engaging, requiring accountability, sound judgement and the ability to work outdoors in all weathers while playing an important part in supporting the public.
