Job summary

Conrad Consulting Ltd in Maidstone is seeking a Civil Drainage Engineer to join a friendly civil engineering team. The role covers design of below-ground drainage systems, modelling and flood risk assessments, on a varied project portfolio from residential extensions to housing developments.

You will have a relevant engineering degree (2:1 or above), strong AutoCAD skills and experience with 3D modelling and drainage modelling packages such as Causeway Flow. UK right to work is required.

Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Drainage Engineer to join a friendly and growing civil engineering team in Maidstone.

The successful candidate will work on a varied portfolio of projects, ranging from residential extensions and individual properties through to housing developments, schools and industrial schemes.

The role will involve the design of civil engineering and below-ground drainage systems, including levels and external works, together with drainage network modelling and flood risk assessments.

The engineer will also be involved in preparing drainage strategies, S278 applications and applications for sewer connections, build-overs and adoptions, liaising with clients, contractors, Local Authorities and water companies throughout the process.

The successful candidate will have a relevant engineering degree, ideally at 2:1 or above, along with previous civil/drainage design experience. Strong AutoCAD skills are essential, together with experience of 3D modelling software and drainage modelling packages such as Causeway Flow. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and the right to work in the UK are also required.
