Senior Civil Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Civil Engineer to join their close-knit and highly respected team based on the outskirts of Dartford.

The practice offers a supportive and collaborative working environment where senior professionals are trusted, valued, and given genuine autonomy. The workload is varied and fast paced, with a strong presence in the commercial private sector alongside industrial and residential developments, providing exposure to interesting and technically engaging schemes.

The successful candidate will bring a minimum of 7 years' post-graduate UK experience and strong client-facing abilities, with confidence in leading conversations and representing projects at meetings with clients, suppliers and third parties. Chartered status is preferred; however, candidates approaching Chartership and motivated to achieve it will be fully supported in their professional development.

This role requires solid technical expertise in drainage design using MicroDrainage, together with working knowledge of Civil 3D. Experience in preparing Flood Risk Assessments, drainage strategies and SuDS designs is essential, along with highways design capability.

The position involves liaising closely with Technicians and Engineers, reviewing and checking designs, and ensuring projects are delivered to a consistently high standard, on time and within budget.
