Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
Aldwych Consulting Ltd in Hitchin is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join our expanding team. You will work on development and infrastructure projects outside of central London, with hybrid and flexible working arrangements.
The role covers drainage, highways, earthworks and external works, with exposure to UK design standards and a broad project portfolio. ICE membership or Chartership support is available as part of professional development.
I'm working with a well-established independent multidisciplinary engineering consultancy that is looking to add a Civil Design Engineer to its Hitchin team.
The office offers a good alternative to the London consultancy market - giving you the opportunity to work on a strong range of development and infrastructure projects, while being based outside of London and away from the daily London commute.
You’ll work across residential, commercial, education, healthcare, retail and leisure projects, gaining exposure to a broad range of civil engineering design work.
Civil Design Engineer
Location: Hitchin
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
Type: Full-Time | Permanent
I'm keen to speak with Civil Engineers with around 2-5 years' UK consultancy experience, ideally from a development infrastructure background.
ICE membership or working towards Chartership would be beneficial, but isn't essential.
If you’re looking for the project exposure and career opportunities associated with the London market, without having to work in London, this could be a good opportunity to consider.
