Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd is seeking a Civil Design Engineer with 2+ years' experience in highways and drainage to join our London team.

You will design highways and drainage for large residential and mixed-use developments, produce detailed drawings, and collaborate with developers, architects and planners through feasibility, planning and delivery, with hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience within civil engineering consultancy.
• Experience in both highways and drainage design.
• Experience working on development-led infrastructure projects.
• Good working knowledge of relevant UK design standards and approval processes.
• Experience with software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design highways, roads and drainage infrastructure for large residential and mixed-use developments.
• Produce detailed design information and technical drawings for development schemes.
• Work alongside developers, architects, planners and wider multidisciplinary design teams.
• Support projects through the planning and technical approval process and into detailed design and delivery.
• Take increasing responsibility for your own projects as your experience develops.

Civil Design Engineer - London

We are currently looking for a Civil Design Engineer with 2+ years' experience across highways and drainage design to join a well-established, award-winning and employee-owned consultancy in London.

The business has a strong reputation within the development sector, working closely with some of the UK's major developers to deliver civil infrastructure solutions across large-scale development projects.

The Role

You’ll join a close-knit London team and work across development-led highways and drainage projects, gaining exposure from early feasibility and planning through to detailed design and delivery.

• Design highways, roads and drainage infrastructure for large residential and mixed-use developments.
• Produce detailed design information and technical drawings for development schemes.
• Work alongside developers, architects, planners and wider multidisciplinary design teams.
• Support projects through the planning and technical approval process and into detailed design and delivery.

What We’re Looking For
