Job summary

Barhale in the United Kingdom is seeking a Site Agent to manage civil engineering and water projects, ensuring safety, quality, and on‑time delivery. You will work closely with the Contracts Manager and engineers to supervise site activities and coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree or equivalent, CSCS, and health & safety qualifications; experience delivering regulated projects and strong leadership with cost control are essential for success.

Qualifications

Experience in Civil Engineering and as a Site Agent on regulated projects.
Working knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme and Cost Control.
CSCS mandatory; IOSH Managing Safely or SMSTS preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee delivery of Civil and Water projects, ensuring safety, quality and programme alignment.
Lead Sub Agents, Engineers and Foremen to deliver work safely and to spec.
Produce Project Plans, RAMS, ITP and Waste Management Plans per project.
Maximise contract value and manage procurement schedules with the team.
Maintain monthly reports and run site meetings in line with company procedures.
