Warwick Arts Centre in Coventry is seeking a motivated Cinema Projection & AV Technician to join the Technical team. You will contribute to live programs, cinema screenings and events with a collaborative, proactive approach.
You will work with the Senior Projection & AV Technician to ingest content, manage adverts and create playlists for three digital cinemas, while supporting AV needs across events. A flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, is required, with a 5% availability
Warwick Arts Centre is looking for a motivated, passionate, inclusive, collaborative and technically skilled Cinema Projection & AV Technician to join the team. You will be an active member of the Technical team, and play a pivotal role in bringing events to life, supporting the delivery of all technical aspects of both our live program, cinema screenings and events.
You will work closely with the Senior Projection & AV Technician to ingest content, adverts and create playlists at Warwick Arts Centre\'s three digital cinemas, whilst supporting the wider Technical team\'s AV requirements across the wide range of events that take place across our multi-venue Arts Centre.
It is essential that you are a collaborative, positive and pro-active individual who also has a good understanding of projection and AV.
In this role, you\'ll specialise in live cinema projection, digital technologies, audiovisual, and simple sound operations, all within the context of the performing arts.
Your primary responsibility will be to uphold the highest standards of technical presentation for all events while maintaining a keen awareness of health and safety regulations.
Flexibility is key in the event industry, and you\'ll need to be prepared to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Please note a 5% availability allowance is included in the advertised salary scale.
