Job summary

Scotsman Group operates cinema venues and is seeking a dedicated Cinema Supervisor to lead daily operations, ensuring safety, service excellence and top presentation across all venue outlets.

You will guide and develop your team, manage opening/closing procedures, handle cash, and drive sales through promotions and events while maintaining a welcoming, well-stocked environment for guests.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience in cinema, hospitality, leisure or customer service.
• Proven leadership to motivate and support a team while upholding standards.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to multi-task and adapt.
• Strong written and verbal communication with guests, colleagues and management.
• Calm under pressure with practical problem-solving and decision-making.
• Comfortable with scheduling, stock and administration tasks.
• Commercial awareness and ability to contribute to sales and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day cinema operations across Box Office, Café and screens.
• Drive guest experience, safety, cleanliness and stock levels.
• Support and develop team; manage opening/closing procedures and cash handling.
• Assist in sales initiatives, promotions and admissions growth.
• Coordinate private hire events and film programming within resources.
• Respond to customer inquiries via email and social media; manage online reputation.
• Ensure compliance with age verification and company policies.
