Job summary

Marks & Spencer in Largs is hiring a Customer Assistant in Operations. The role is physically demanding and fast-paced, supporting stock, deliveries and the backstage processes that keep the shop floor full and ready for customers.

You will handle stock movement, assist with deliveries, use digital tools to track stock, and work across the wider store. Flexible scheduling includes weekend and late shifts; night premiums apply between 22:00 and 06:00. You must be 18 or older.

Qualifications

• Role involves late nights and flexible hours.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• No formal qualifications required (on-site training provided).

Due to operational requirements, all successful candidates may be asked to work up to full time hours in the weeks commencing 13th and 20th December.

Being digitally confident is essential. You'll use digital tools confidently to track deliveries and manage stock efficiently, always focused on availability and speed.

Being a team player is essential. You'll be a key cog in a big machine, working across functions and supporting colleagues across the store.

Flexibility is vital. From early morning deliveries to shifting stock late into the day, you'll adapt quickly to keep things moving.
